Temple 32: Zenjibuji

We are now on the shores of Kochi Prefecture. The day is lovely and blue. The water stretches out forever across the Pacific. This is the Temple of Ch’an Master’s Peak. The temple site is supposed to be in the shape of an eight-petaled lotus. This temple also has strong connections to a sister temple for Kannon in India. This temple is also in place to provide safety for sea vessels and is the protector of sailors.
